How to do eye makeup

There are many ways to do an eye makeup depending upon the shape and colour of the eye and the skin tone of a person. Everyone wants to look stunning nowdays, a perfect eye makeup will help a person to get her desired looks. The basic and the most important products which will help you in your eye makeup is eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.

A person who have dark circles around their eyes can also use foundations or concealers to hide them. While applying eye shadows you can play with colours but if one is not familiar with the type of colour she should use, they can go for neutral shades. A primary shade should be applied to the entire base of the eyelid while use a lighter shade on top below the eyebrows. Then you can use a eyeliner (pencil or liquid) and form a straight line along your lashes. There are some ways of applying a eyeliner (thinner lines, thicker and darker lines) which will add different looks to your personality. Last comes the mascara which you can apply in a single stroke from  the base to the tip of the eye lashes. You can give definition to your eyes by applying 2 coats of mascara. A Kajal or pencil eyeliner applied on the lower lids of your eyes will complete your look and enhace the natural look of your eyes.

Eye Make Up Designs

The common design for eye makeup is to affect a lighter eye shadow colour to the both lids and a brighter colour in the fold vaguely blending it upward. Using the lighter colour to the whole lid and makes the lid larger and brighter.

How-to make designs:

•Using Large Eye shadow Brush or Shadow Softening Brush, uses the radiance colour at the bottom of the lashes and merge all over the brow.

•Then apply Crease Defining Brush or Precision Shadow Brush to use the second shade in the fold, merging up and out toward the outer part at the pleat of the brow bone of the eye.

•For a softer and mellower effect after pleat colour is used, use the Soft Blending Brush without any eye shadow and merge using soft circular motions down the outer part of the pleat.














Eye Make up for blue eyes

The inspiration of eye makeup is to increase and emphasize on the blue eyes. To formulate the best preference, decide the gaze you want to attain – natural, classic or dramatic.

When choosing eye shadow for blue eyes, it is nice to select shades which will contrast with natural eye color. For selecting the eyeliner color for blue eyes, track one simple law – the darker the eyeliner, the more emphasis on your blue eyes will. Bend the lashes and paint them with mascara.

Steps of Blue eye make-up

1. Apply light shades of eye shadow from lash towards brow. Use eye shadow which neutralizes blue colour.

2. Apply medium-toned eye shadow in the fold and merge up to the brow bone.

3. Apply dark eye shadow of the similar color on outer corner of the eyelid.

4. Apply liner on the upper lids.

5. Apply mascara on superior lashes with emphasis on outer corners.










Eye Make Up For Brown Eyes

Diverse shades of metallic in gold, browns, bronze and pinks make brown eyes look most attractive.

 

How to apply makeup for brown eyes:

1. Use light shades of eye shadow starting from lash to brow. Neutral eye shadow is more preferable.

2. Use medium-toned eye shadow in the fold and merge up with the brow bone.

3. Use dark eye shadow of the similar colour on outer bend of the eye lid.

4. One might use a bit of shimmery shadow in inner bend of the eyes to brighten the eyes.

5. Line both the eye lids.

6. Use mascara on upper lashes with importance on outer turns.

 

Use shimmery pastel shadow all over eye lid, fold the lashes and apply two rounds of dark grey or charcoal coloured mascara with highlight on the outer bend of eyes for simple and quick make up.










Eye Make Up Tips 2012

For close-set eyes

1)  Apply lighter eye shadow on eyelids extending it slightly to the fore of the outer edging of your eye.

2) Use eyeliner to line both eyelids keeping colour most deep in the outer corners of the eyes.

3) Apply mascara on the upper lashes and with some additional coats on the bottom lashes in the outer edges.

For wide-set eyes

1) Apply gloomy shade inside your eye starting from lashes till brow bone.

2) Use light shade to the outer more than half of the eyelid commencing the lashes to the brow bone.

3) To make eyes appear closer, line both eyelids from inside to outside edges.

For small eyes

1)  Use light eye shadow below the brow line for a highlight effect.

2) Apply a medium shade of eye shadow next to your eyelid crease.

3) Line both the lids.

4) Apply black mascara on upper and lower lashes.

For prominent eyes

1)  Use light eye shadow beneath the brow line highlighting the effect.

2) Apply a medium or darker shadow to the entire lids extending eye shadow into the eye crease to make the vision of deeper set eyes.

3) Line the top lids with eyeliner or a darker shade of shadow.

4) Apply plenty of mascara to emphasize top lashes.
